My approach
I hold space for deeply exploring, questioning, feeling, and moving with care for ourselves, others, and the world. I have found that there can be a deep joy that comes at the edges of moving through what disturbs us.I’m a somatic therapist certified by ISMETA and a conflict facilitator working with individuals, relationships, and groups. I support people in exploring what they know, then to creatively explore perspectives and possibilities for deeper and different kinds of knowledge and awareness, around challenges and conflicts. In our work together, we may explore creativity through natural movement and art, dreams and myths, and methods of questioning. In my life, I searched to connect my mind and body, and make sense of what’s happening within myself with the surrounding relationships and systemic issues. This led me to the lenses of Process Work and Somatic Expressive Arts.Process Work or Process-Oriented Psychology was created by Dr. Arnold Mindell applying Jungian transpersonal, depth psychology to work with innerwork, body symptoms, altered states of consciousness, and organizations and groups. Where many psychological and medical paths may be looking at one area of the person and the world, Process Work opens and connects different aspects of individuals, relationships, groups and systems toward deeper meaning and a sense of connected and moving flow in life and existence.Somatic movement therapy combines how we sense the physical, emotional, and mental states. At times, the body can speak what is unspeakable with the mind, beyond social constructs. Somatic movement can uncover new expressions of the self and integrate what is internal to how we show up in life. I hold a creative and safe space for exploring imaginations, dreams, and symbols in connection with the body with its sensations, symptoms and illnesses - to identify patterns, new possibilities, and resources.I integrate my experiences as a professional dance artist with The Tamalpa Life/Art Process (TLAP), an intermodal expressive arts approach that supports the development of creative resources, artful communication, and embodied presence. With couples and groups, I hold space for deep listening and communication. Conflicts can be the starting place for getting to know one another again and again, and what you create together more deeply. We may unravel situational and past challenges, rank, power, privilege, new ways to express and communicate, and how to work and move together. With compassion for all voices, I am committed to understanding and affirming intersectional aspects of social and political, including different kinds of marginalized identities and collectively growing from the challenges of discrimination, injustice, privilege, and power.I have supported clients with finding meaning in their lives, depression, trauma, chronic physical symptoms, altered and extreme states, embodied leadership, expression, creativity, communication, inner critics, living your values, as well as relationship / systemic challenges.
My journey
Philosophy, psychology, and dance are the loves of my life. I find my sense of home and belonging in movement, traveling all over the world and in my body. On a different level of movement, I value the roles of translation and listening between cultures, disciplines, and polarities. Being from the ocean waves of San Francisco and Guam, I find myself attracted to questioning how things stand and appear and playing with innovations and what could be.My life’s path as a Korean-American, new-Berliner, avant-garde artist and former research consultant have given me the freedom to not fit in neatly into categories and boxes and have to create my own path. I realized over time that this has allowed me to connect to and empathize with many kinds of people more deeply to meet their uniqueness.I am here today as I have muscled and undulated my way through my share of dark moments with existential, relational, and societal paradoxes. I hold a candle for others out there finding their way.

Testimonials
“I was surprised, touched, and carried through this experience, within the gentle, fluid container that Min created for us. I found new parts of myself and reconnected with old ones, stripping away the facade of who I wanted others to see and revealing the parts of me that have always tried to hide. I will forever remember this experience, which has opened doors for me as to what movement can look like and be.” - Jen“Min facilitated sessions which included written reflections, storytelling, expressive movement, movement based in imagery and imagination, interview-type conversations, and drawing. The range of activities meant that an idea seeded in one area could move to another, and another, and eventually become something very different in form, yet connected in concept, to the initial inspiration. This experience, guided and supported by Min, invited (but never forced) me into the depths of memory and psyche, alternative movement pathways, and new perspectives. I experienced emotional opening and relief as a result of working with Min and a shift in how I related to old stories about my life and my body. The research felt important to my healing process and also empowered me to show up differently– more aware, present, and understanding– in my relationships. While no two sessions were alike, I always felt held in the patient and loving container that Min created. I appreciated working with Min and their one-of-a-kind approach to praxis/therapy and highly recommend their work!” - Nicola“Min/Truth is fire incarnate. They can be a fierce blaze that empowers you, a gentle flame that thaws your frozen heart, or a steadfast light that illuminates the dark corners of your mind. Creative, unconventional, and incredibly sensitive, they can shift their shape and intensity according to your needs in the moment and work expertly with not just trauma, social justice issues, and BIPOC experience—all of which they have authentic experiences with—but with any challenges and problems you are uniquely facing. They will kindle you, spark you, and set you on fire to do the right thing. If you want a therapist or facilitator who can fire-dance with you, individually or in a group, I couldn’t recommend Min/Truth more. And don’t worry, they won’t burn you—unless you ask for it

Pricing and Policies
Individual sessions last for 50 minutes at 90€ / $100. I do offer a few sliding scale sessions.Relationship sessions of two people last for 90 minutes, and range
between 130€ / $150 and 250€ / $300 based on income.Fees for organizations and communities are negotiated for each engagement.I recommend working weekly for the first four weeks, then considering the rhythm of sessions that would work best.
Please note I am not a part of the health insurance system and do not take insurance. Some private insurances may cover the costs of counseling yet I do not work with the insurance companies.A benefit of self-financed praxis is that you have the freedom to choose the modality and practitioner that works best for you, rather than working with one that takes your insurance and has free places. You will also remain anonymous to the insurance companies / connected official bodies as they will not be informed about the therapy (around future insurance / civil jobs). In Germany, self-financed treatment costs may be claimed as “extraordinary expenses” for tax purposes in some cases. It would be best for you to double check with your tax office and support.
Conflict Mediation:
coaching and Consulting
Sessions and workshops with partners, groups, and organizations, open forums, workshops, assessments, and change managementI bring the lenses of Process Work and PROSCI Change Management to
- raise group awareness
- create space for different perspectives to be in dialogue
- work through issues of power, rank, and diversity
- come together with Vision and Values that support the whole as well as the individuals
- support and process the inner working and conflicts of leaders and individuals, in working with others
- integrate changeI work with leaders 1:1 and facilitate communities and organizations to process conflict and sustainable change, creating spaces for curiosity, listening, assessment, and practice. I’ve supported organizations and consulted executives around conflict facilitation, communications, organizational and change strategy, and refining their leadership styles.
Each project will be developed from the organization’s needs. We may look at the vision, change and communications, systemic change processes, diversity work including working with rank and power challenges, stakeholder relationships, team development, and skill building. We may also work with an individual’s internal processes and motivations and develop ways to identify and respond to larger dynamics within an organization, rather than reacting to single events and individuals.I have consulted organizations in various ways and continued to research different methods toward human change on issues that affect our lives. I have researched and advised hospitals, schools, foundations, large corporations, and nonprofit organizations. I have also been a researcher of challenging social issues in life, using provocative performance art and games. I integrate different methods from my life’s works around Process Work, change management, conflict resolution, worldwork, psychosomatic therapy, communication, and collective creativity on issues that matter.I would love to reflect on the current questions that communities and leaders are living, and find ways to co-create and support their processes.from Invitas:
WHAT IS CONVERSATIONAL LEADERSHIP?
Conversational Leadership begins
Conversational Leadership begins with leaders understanding that one of their functions in shaping and evolving an organization is to consciously address the essential conversations which form how people think and act. Many of these conversations go unspoken in public settings, because they often reveal the conflicts or tensions that lie below the surface, bringing controversy and disagreement in their wake. It takes courage for a leader to step into this territory, to let go of control and open to input and differences, and develop this ability with our teammates and partners within organizations. Conversational Leadership emphasizes keen attention, self-discipline, and a certain kind of artistry in engaging with others. It does not mean indulging in endless talking but rather identifying and engaging with the crucial and often courageous exchanges that facilitate meaningful change. The traditional approach is for the leader to figure out what is right, and then persuade others to do it. Alternatively, engaging in conversational leadership is to "invite what you do not expect," bringing you to the frontier of what is emerging in your organization and asking you to turn into it, rather than away from it.Our online and in-person programs build the presence, instinct and artistry required to steward these conversations and in doing so, shape organizations in which we long to participate.
